How I got on CNN

I love the title but it is a tad misleading I'm afraid. Might as well admit that up front. And speaking of upfront how about this picture! I have ranted before about the difficulty of describing in words what we do at NetVideoMaker and what impact it has on web visitors. Our website, completely reinvented last fall, does a good job of showing many of our site engagement tools, but of course one has to find it.

Now we have a new tool that allows us to show prospects the impact of a "SiteGreeter" - on THEIR site! That's how I got on CNN. I put myself there. I can't put you there because I don't have a transparent Flash video file featuring you - although that can be arranged! But I can show you and anyone with a web site the effect of an appearance on your own site. It's as simple as visiting our Greeter Demo page. Enter a complete URL in place of ours, select a video and pick a position for it to appear. Then click "submit" and prepare to be amazed.
At present you have a choice of the character you see on the CNN page (yours truly, of course) or of our friend, Yedi, Mike Harding's puppet creation. I like Yedi best with a "bottom centre" positioning, because he's sitting on a cushion, but feel free to put him (or me) wherever you please. And feel free to pass the URL far and wide. Until I get on CNN for real I need to go viral!
