New Video Search Entry - Twitmatic

My usual early morning surfing turned up a gem today. The video search space has attracted considerable investment in the past couple of years, during which time YouTube became the number two search engine on the planet. Twitmatic.com is a recent entry with a twist, search results served up by recency from freshest on down. I tried it out with "Stanley Cup" (game three goes tonight) and then with "french jet disappears", yesterday's tragic top story. One of the best features of the site is that it serves all video in the same window regardless of the source. Some will come from YouTube, some from the dot com network sites but all right in front of you with no page change, offering the opportunity to simply select "next" or scroll up and down the results list for your next hit. Give it a try.

And returning to YouTube's #2 ranking in search, if you haven't tried searching it for tutorials or cooking lessons or information on whatever interests you, what are you waiting for? The variety and depth of information will amaze you.
